It’s been fun. We loved you – at least I loved your shopping – and your beaches, your parks and libraries were great too. Mostly we loved your people, all the friends we’ve made and will deeply miss. Your houses… yeah, nah – not so much. Too overpriced and overrated.
But New Zealand is more than Auckland and so off we go to explore. The possibilities are endless! It’s a bit daunting to be honest. Our checklist isn’t too demanding
Something affordable
Accessible to a school and a job
Close-ish to a beach/river
Where we can start a small farm
Which could lead to a multitude of places… and more options isn’t necessarily better. When it comes down to it, we’re still a bit vague about how we’ll decide. Probably price. For now we’re just window shopping.
We left Auckland on Tuesday. Three days later and we’re slowly edging towards Cape Regina. Probably won’t go all the way up there, but you never know, the possibilities are endless.
You all look so happy! What a wonderful thing to do for the children! I pray that God will direct your footsteps on where to settle. I love all the photos from paradise!! Give the children a big hug from me!
Love you so much!
